To provide a lid body which can close an opening of a container body with a standing wall-like peripheral face of the opening and is vacuum-molded.
The lid body 10 has a top face 2 and a side face 3 hanging down from the peripheral edge 2a of the top face, and closes the opening by covering the side face on the standing wall-like peripheral face of the opening for forming the upper part opening of the container body. The side face is provided with a body fitting rib 5 which can fit a lid body fitting rib provided on the peripheral face of the opening and a fitting force holding rib 6 for holding a fitting force to the lid body fitting rib. It is possible thereby to provide rigidity which can return to an original state to the side face of the lid body even if the side face of the lid body is bent once to the outside so that the body fitting rib crosses over the lid body fitting rib, even the lid body for the container body with the standing wall-like peripheral face of the opening can be vacuum-molded.
