The lid of a CATV apparatus has a coil spring on the back of a lid short-circuiting member for serving for pressing the short-circuiting member to an input side terminal and an output side terminal. The lid of the apparatus may have a coil spring covered with an insulator film. Or, the lid of the apparatus may have an insulator inserted and held between the short-circuiting member and the coil spring.
