To provide a lid capable of being conveniently used and having a good appearance with avoiding big protrusion of a hinge of a sub-lid by integrating a lid body and a subsidiary lid for closing the opening of the lid body and allowing the subsidiary lid to be rotated within the plane of a top plate without backlash to cover the opening suitably.
The container includes: the lid body 4 having the opening 5 in a top plate 2; and the sub-lid 6 that can cover the opening 5 detachably. The lid body 4 and the sub-lid 6 are formed integrally with a connecting plate 7 between them, the connecting plate 7 being continuous with the lid body 4 via a first bend 10 and with the sub-lid 6 via a second bend 15. The connecting plate 7 is fixed over the top plate 2. The sub-lid 6 is rotatable around the second bend 15. The sub-lid 6 covers the opening 5 of the lid body 4 so as to be openable or closable.
