In the lid cover 1 of the school bag B, a bag portion 4 is formed by sewing the peripheries of a surface cover portion 2 covering the whole front surface of a lid A of the school bag B and a back cover portion 3 covering the whole back surface of the lid except the upper end of each portion, a storage portion 7 is formed on the surface of the back cover portion 3 so as to have an opening 6 at a side thereof, and a stretchable hook member 5 provided at the upper end of the surface cover portion 2 to be engaged with a suspended ring provided at the upper end of the back plate of the school bag.
