PURPOSE: To omit one key switch and thereby reduce the cost of production by making a solenoid so as to be energized and a lid locker to be released when a rotor of a cylinder lock is rotated by operation of an ignition power circuit controlling key and reached to a second working point.

CONSTITUTION: In a device which has a lid, capable of opening or closing front upward in a storage box for a motorcycle, locked up at the closing position by a locking mechanism, a key switch 43 is constituted of combining a cylinder lock 44 and a switch part 45 together, and an ignition switch and a solenoid switch for controlling an ignition power circuit 46 and a solenoid power circuit 47 for the locking mechanism for their opening or closing operations are assembled in the switch part 45, making them so as to be operated in linkage with rotation of a rotor 48. The ignition switch is closed when the rotor 48 is rotated to a first working point B, while the solenoid switch is set so as to be closed at a second working point C, rotated as far as an angle β from a locking position beyond the working point B.
