Abstract:
To maintain a positive pressure by nitrogen filling to reduce a residual oxygen in a can by performing nitrogen filling, depressurizing operation, etc. in a case of making a canned food product with a can body whose body part is thinned.SOLUTION: A can sealer for sealing canned food contents based on an oxygen gas removal process, comprises: a nitrogen gas treatment and filling part filling a metal can body with food contents while being treated with nitrogen gas in replacing the air in the can with nitrogen gas with respect to the metal can body whose body part that can be subjected to drawing and ironing processing is thinned; a residual oxygen removing part in the can provided with a nitrogen gas supply port nozzle by injection of nitrogen gas and a decompression port nozzle having reverse injection by the Bernoulli principle in the metal can body filled with the processed food contents in a container which has been previously made into a nitrogen gas atmosphere; a can seal part for completely discharging residual oxygen in the can and sealing the can filled with the food contents; and an inspection part for checking the pressure in the sealed can filled with the food contents. A method for sealing the food contents by using the can sealer is also provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
