To provide an opening/closing mechanism of a lid capable of smoothly and stably opening/closing the lid for a long time without a strict dimensional care and keeping the production cost inexpensive.
The opening/closing mechanism for a lid is constituted of a lid member 3 and a decorative frame 5 holding openably/closably the lid member 3 at the front face of the device. A resiliently engaging member 18 which is elastically deformed so as to interlock with the opening or closing motion of the lid is formed in the decorative frame 5. The resiliently engaging member 18 is once pushed up according to the closing movement of the lid member 3 and when the lid member 3 reaches a specified closing position, a retaining face 23a for keeping the closed state provided in the lid member 3 is pushd up by an elasticity restoring force at, the time and thereby, the lid member 3 is urged to the closing direction and the closing state is kept.
