To provide an inexpensive lid of a rice cooker, which is automatically opened and closed synchronizing with the supply of rice and water to the rice cooker equipped for an automatic rice cooker and has a simple structure.

The lid 5, which is positioned under a valve port opening downward and used for a rice cooker for receiving rice and water from the valve port and cooking rice, is provided with a lid body 51 to be installed at the rice cooker, an opening part 52 formed at a part positioned under the valve port when installed to the rice cooker in this body 51, and a movable part 53 which is fitted vertically movably to this part 52 from a lower side to cover the part 52 and moves downward as the result of being pushed by a valve projecting from the lower end of the valve port when the valve port is opened, to open the part 52.
