An oil filter 1 has a casing 2, a set plate 3 covering a lower end of the casing 2, and a lock ring 4 fastening the set plate 3 to the casing 2 as main components. Three locking rags 54 are formed at even angler interval at a lower part of an annular wall 52 of the lock ring 4 with projecting inward. The locking rag 54 is struck out to retain roughly fixed plate thickness between the circumference direction end parts 54a, 54b and an annular wall 52, and an upper end surface 54c is formed in a flat surface crossing an axial line C of the casing at right angle. A depression 55 corresponding to the locking rag 54 is formed on an outer circumference surface side of the annular wall 52, and a vertical rib 56 extending in an up-and-down direction is provided at a circumference direction center part of the depression 55.
