Abstract:

To provide a lid structure in a storage battery capable of smoothly fitting an upper lid to a lid body.

The storage battery includes a battery container having cell chambers, a lid body 1 covering the upper opening of the battery container, and an upper lid 5 sealing the upper part of the lid body 1, the lid body includes an exhaust hole for exhausting gas from the cell chamber, and the upper part of the lid body 1 is sealed with the upper lid 5 to form on the lid body 1 a guide passage for guiding gas exhausted from an exhaust hole 4D to the outside. The lid structure of the storage battery includes a pair of holes 11, 12 in the lid body 1, and locking parts 5D, 5E for locking in the holes 11, 12 in the upper lid 5, and one hole 11 is formed in the size obstructing the movement in the horizontal direction of the locking part 5D for locking in the hole 11, and the other hole 12 is formed in a long hole long in the counter direction of the pair of holes.
