Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a life indicator which indicates that the life of an apparatus has run out, i.e., that the replacement time of the apparatus has come according to whether a light-emitting diode emits light or not by a method wherein, while water is being fed, i.e., the apparatus is being used, the light-emitting diode emits the light, while the water is not being fed, i.e., the apparatus is not being used, the light-emitting diode does not emit any light and, while the discharge life of a battery is available, i.e., the life of the apparatus is available, the light-emitting diode can emit the light.
CONSTITUTION: The life indicator 20 is constituted in such a way that it detects an electric signal generated from a thermistor 21 installed inside a water feed passage 130 when water is fed to the water feed passage 130 which communicates with an apparatus as an object and that a light-emitting diode 24 emits light by using a battery 23 as a power supply. The battery 23 is set in such a way that its discharge life is equal to the life of the apparatus.
