To provide a simple life support gas clarifying apparatus which removes carbon dioxide from living environment gas in a life living environment.
The life support gas clarifying apparatus 10A removes carbon dioxide to a prescribed value or below to obtain clarified gas 12. The life support gas clarifying apparatus 10A includes: a CO2 adsorbing/desorbing column 14 which is filled with an activated carbon fiber adsorbent 13 and adsorbs carbon dioxide in a pressurized state; an inlet side flow passage 15 which is connected with an inlet side of the CO2 adsorbing/desorbing column 14 in order to introduce gas to be clarified 11 including carbon dioxide and moisture of a prescribed value or above into the CO2 adsorbing/desorbing column 14; an outlet side flow passage 16 which is connected with an outlet side of the CO2 adsorbing desorbing column 14 and discharges clarified gas 12; a decompression flow passage 17 which is provided at an inlet side flow passage 15 side of the CO2 adsorbing/desorbing column 14 and decompresses the inside of the column 14; and a first flow passage opening/closing means 21, a second flow passage opening/closing means 22 and a third flow passage opening/closing means 23 for freely opening and closing the inlet side flow passage 15, the outlet side flow passage 16 and the decompression flow passage 17, respectively.
