To provide a life watching system for collecting biological information with the use of a sensor mounted on a resident person, discriminating the abnormality of a life rhythm, and reporting it.
The life watching system comprises: a device to be mounted on a living body, including a body action sensor; a part for discriminating a life state, based on the detection signal of the device; a life rhythm discrimination part for calculating the featured value of the life rhythm, based on the time sequential detection signal of a life state; a knowledge database to be used for discriminating the abnormality of the featured value; an alert discrimination part for discriminating the abnormality of the life rhythm; and a part for outputting alert information, etc. The knowledge database stores a reference hour of rising and the reference value of the featured value of an action pattern corresponding to a difference from the reference hour of rising. The life rhythm discrimination part calculates an hour of rising and the featured value of the action pattern after the hour of rising. The alert discrimination part changes the reference value in response to a difference between the reference hour of rising and the hour of rising and discriminates the abnormality of the action pattern after getting up.
