Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a liquid flow cross over the end 48 of a weir placed much higher than an open channel flow.
SOLUTION: A reverse rotation device actively prevents the reverse rotation of a wheel 22, which prevents a blade 40 from being damaged. A motor 58 drives the wheel 22. The motor 58 provided in a housing tray 16 attached to a sidewall 38 drives a driving shaft 66 penetrating the sidewall 38. The housing tray 16 collects arbitrary liquid leaking through the shaft. The housing tray 16 comprises an inclined bottom wall 76 for directing the liquid to a drain hole 78 in the housing sidewall 38.
