To provide a lift-type gate that does not cause hindering of opening/closing even when damaged while a door body blocks a water channel.

A lift-type flap-in gate 10 is attached to a door body 20 so that a rod 30 for raising and lowering the door body 20 up and down suspends the door body 20 slidably by a predetermined distance α. The rod 30 moves up and down by driving means, not shown. An opening 22 is provided below the door body 20, and a flap valve 40 for opening and closing the opening 22 is pivotally supported to be turnable by a rotary shaft 42. The flap valve 40 and the rod 30 are coupled by an opening and closing mechanism 50 which consists of a rack 51 provided at the rod 30 and a pinion 52 provided at the rotary shaft 42, and when the rod 30 slides by a predetermined distance, the opening and closing mechanism 50 operates in conjunction with sliding of the rod 30, the flap valve 40 coupled to the opening and closing mechanism 50 is operated and turned, and the opening 22 is opened and closed.
