This lift has a pair of guide rails 110a and 110b respectively formed of a member having a U-shaped cross section, a driving screw 120 arranged at a central part of the guide rail, and a nut part 130 to be engaged with the driving screw. In the lift, two of upper and lower guide rollers 140a-140h are pivotally supported in four side surfaces of the nut part, and the two of upper and lower guide rollers are pivotally supported with displacement so as to be brought in contact with a different surface of the guide rail. An operation rod fitting part 150 is fixed to the nut part. The lift with this structure can solve the described problem.
