When the bundle H arrives at a lifter work position, the lifter 4C of a reciprocating type delivers the bundle H to a rotary bundle receiving deice 4D. Then, the lifter 4C starts down-moving operation and a pusher starts to push out the bundle H on the rotary receiving device 4D toward the second carrying passage 4F. As a result, the lifter 4C can start down-moving operation before the pusher 4E pushes out the bundle H to a pusher work position, therefore reducing a waiting time.
