This lifting device comprises a guide rail 12 fixed to a vertical column 4 of the prefabricated scaffolding 1, a lift member 13 vertically movable along the guide rail 12, a hoisting member 14 fitted to the upper end section of the guide rail 12 to vertically move the lift member 13, and a cargo mounting member 17 turnably fitted to the horizontal section 15 of the lift member 13. A lock mechanism for fixing the cargo mounting member 17 to the lift member 13 is provided on the cargo mounting member 17 and the lift member 13.
