To provide a lifting device for a vehicle in which a wheelchair easily boards on or alights from a mounting body, and a fixing device is easily operated when the fixing device is provided in the mounting body.

The lifting device for the vehicle comprises: the flat mounting body 1 for mounting a passenger who sits in the wheelchair C; a lifting frame 2 which supports the mounting body 1 so as to freely slide in inner/outer directions of the vehicle; and a lifting operation means which lifts the mounting body 1 from the ground surface or a lowered position near the ground surface to a raised position at the same height or substantially same height as a floor of the vehicle by lifting the lifting frame 2. An illumination device 51 for illuminating the mounting body 1 is provided at the mounting body 1.
