To provide a lifting device for a vehicle in which the reeling part of a seat belt can be installed with sufficient strength against a pulling force toward the front side of the vehicle at such a height as to easily operate the seat belt in a simple configuration using a handrail.
The handrail 46 erected at one end of mounting body 1 in a lateral width direction, and gripped by a passenger seated in a wheelchair comprises: a body frame 47 which is equipped with a pair of longitudinal frames 47a lined up in an anteroposterior direction of the vehicle and a gripping frame 47b extending in the anteroposterior direction of the vehicle, and is formed in an inverted U-shape; and a reinforcement frame 48 which is installed at the pair of longitudinal frames 47b in an inclined posture wherein the rearer the anteroposterior direction of the vehicle is, the more upwardly the reinforcement frame is positioned. A seat belt device 52 for holding the passenger seated in the wheelchair in the wheelchair comprises a belt reeling part 53 supported near a combining position of the reinforcement frame 48 in the handrail 46 and the longitudinal frame 47a at the rear side.
