Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting device capable of maintaining favorable appearance of a building.SOLUTION: A lifting device (10) includes: a hoistway (11) formed vertically in a building (1); and a car (51) moving vertically inside the hoistway. The hoistway includes: a plurality of panels (20) arrayed in the vertical direction on a wall facing outdoors out of the walls constituting the hoistway; and control means (30) for controlling the panels. The panel includes a light controlling layer (22) which can change transmissivity of light by electric conduction. The control means performs control for changing the transmissivity of light with respect to the panel arranged at a position which the car faces.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
