To provide a lifting and transporting apparatus for both drum and load which can be disassembled, stored, and transported.

The lower part of a support frame 2 is fixed to the support columns 42 and 42a of a cart 40 by inserting it from the underside, and a drum holder 50 is hooked to the hooks 9 and 9a of a lifting frame 5. A rib b at the top of the drum (a) is held by the drum holder 50. Transportation is carried out in this state. To raise the apparatus, an output shaft 24 is rotated by a handle 29 to rotate sprockets in the order of 23, 21, 20, 17, and 15 so as to raise the lifting frame 5 through a chain 80. To lower the apparatus, the handle 29 is fitted to a drive shaft 16, and the drive sprocket 15 is directly rotated for quick operation. In this case, since a ratchet gear 26 is fixed by a ratchet claw 27, the rachet gear is idled at friction disks 25 and 25a, and the rotation of the drive sprocket 15 is not obstructed.
