This curtain is composed of a frame 1 fixed to the upper part of a window W, a cylindrical roller 2 having both ends rotatably journalled to the frame 1, curtain cloth 3 having the upper end side installed in the frame 1 so as to be freely attachable and a plurality of proper length lifting strings 4 having one end fixed to a lower proper position of the curtain cloth 3 and the other end fixed to a proper position of the outer peripheral surface of the roller 2, and has a torsion spring connected to the frame 1 and the roller 2, the regulating part to regulate unidirectional rotation of the roller 2 and a ball chain 5 being an operation string to engage with the regulating part.
