Abstract:
To provide any one variant of a growth hormone, a placental lactogen or a prolactin which is a monomer polypeptide hormone containing 4 amphipathic alpha helices.
This agonist is obtained by forming a ternary complex from the growth hormone and its receptors, initially binding site 1 on the hormone to one receptor molecule, then binding site 2 to another receptor molecule and thereby producing a 1:2 complex.
