Abstract:
To provide a novel ligand being able to form a novel complex with a metal, which can suitably be used as a catalyst for a cross coupling reaction.SOLUTION: A ligand comprises a compound (1) having a 2,2'-bipyridine skeleton represented by formula (I). Formula (I): A12-A11-A12 . [In formula (1), A11 is selected from 2,2'-bipyridine which may have a substituent and which can be bonded to two A12s at 5,5' positions or 1,10-phenanthroline which can be bonded to two A12s at 3,8 positions, the two A12s may be identical to or different from each other, and each of the two A12s is selected from a methyl group or a silyl group having three substituents and an aryl group having branched substituents at 2 and 6 positions].SELECTED DRAWING: None
