To provide a ligation apparatus which has a clip in which a clip claw member is advanced to be easily opened by a pressing member receiving elastic force in body cavity.
The ligation apparatus makes a clip which ligatures living tissue so as to be retained in a body cavity. The ligation apparatus includes a clip 2 which has a clip claw member 11 openable/closable to ligate living tissue and a pressing member 13 to fit the clip claw member 11 thereinto, a sheath 4, an operation wire 5 freely advanced and retreated in the sheath 4, a connection member 10 set to the distal end side of the operation wire 5 and connectable with the clip claw member 11, an operation part 7 to operate the operation wire 5 to be advanced and retreated, and a plate spring 33 to energize the clip claw member 11 in a direction advancing to the press member 13.
