To provide a light adjusting device in which an axial magnet is easily assembled, falling off can be prevented, and the axial magnet can be stably rotated.
A light adjusting device 1 comprises: a driving part 2 including an axial magnet 11, a coil core material 12, and a coil 13; a first substrate 3 which includes a light passing opening 3c and a first notch 3d into which the axial magnet 11 is inserted and in which the coil 13 and the coil core material 12 are disposed on one surface side thereof; a second substrate 4 which includes a light passing opening 4c and a second notch 4d into which the axial magnet 11 is inserted and is at a predetermined interval from the first substrate 3; an incident light adjusting part 6 to which the axial magnet 11 is bonded; and an axial magnet supporting member 21 including a distance holding part 21b holding a distance between the coil core material 12 and the axial magnet 11 in a fixed range and a fall-off prevention part 21c preventing the axial magnet 11 from falling off from the first notch 3d and fixed to the coil core material 12. The incident light adjusting part 6 is rotated by the driving part 2, to be displaced to a retreat position and an insertion position, to adjust incident light.
