To provide a light adjustment device that can secure bond strength even when a light adjustment part is thinned.
A light adjustment device comprises: first and second substrates 3 and 4 that have openings 3c and 4c, and are arranged parallely at a prescribed interval; a rotary shaft member 11 that is attached rotatably to the first and second substrates 3 and 4; a drive part 2 that rotates the rotary shaft member 11; an incident light adjustment part 6 that has a function of adjusting light, and is rotatably bonded integrally with the rotary shaft member 11; and an annular protrusion part 6e for increasing a bonded area of bonding part of the rotary shaft member 11 and the incident adjustment part 6. The incident adjustment part 6 is rotated by the drive part 2 via the rotary shaft member 11, and displaced to an insertion position or retreat position onto/from an optical path of incident light passing through the openings 3c and 4c to thereby adjust the incident light.
