Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light adjustment device that enables suppression of an unexpected movement of a light adjustment unit in a power-off state.SOLUTION: A light adjustment device has: a substrate; a rotary shaft member that is composed of a shaft magnet; a light adjustment unit that is rotationally integral with the rotary shaft member; and an electromagnet drive source that rotates the rotary shaft member by a coil core material made up of a coil and magnetic body, which in turn causes a light adjustment unit to be displaced to a retreat position and insertion position to adjust light. A rotatable range θa is set so as to have a portion overlapping at least one of a range θn where a direction of a torque acting on the rotary shaft member by magnetic force when the coil is not energized is a negative direction and a range θp where the direction thereof is a positive direction, and a range θ1 overlapping the range θn and a range θ2 overlapping the range θp are made different in a size.
