After a wheel molded component having a vehicle wheel shape is obtained by casting, a closed space 26 is formed on the surface between bead sheets of a rim of the wheel molded component, and processing materials 25 at least including spherical bodies or polyhedrons of 2 or more of specific gravity and 5 mm or more of diameter are injected into the closed space 26. The wheel molded component having the closed space 26 formed by injecting the processing materials 25 is vertically oscillated with the surface 91a between the bead sheets of the rim positioned horizontally, and the processed materials 25 are made collide with the surface 91a of the bead sheets of the rim of the wheel molded component, so as to form dimples having 10 to 2,500 m of continuously formed diameter and 50 m or less of depth on the surface 91a between the bead sheets of the rim and a surface layer processed layer having a quench-hardened layer of 500 to 5,000 m of thickness on a surface layer 14 between the bead sheets of the rim.
