Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light amount adjustment device that maintains a low-speed drive performance, and improves a high-speed drive performance.SOLUTION: A light adjustment device comprises: a diaphragm blade 7 that adjusts an amount of light; a main rotation member 3 that drives the diaphragm blade 7 by a rotation; a rotatable auxiliary rotation member 4 that comes into contact with the main rotation member 3; a main motor 1 that drives the main rotation member 3; and an auxiliary motor 2 that drives the auxiliary rotation member 4. The main rotation member 3 and the auxiliary rotation member 4 have a contact surface that almost concentrically generates a friction force with an optical axis as a rotation center, and by independently controlling the main motor 1 and the auxiliary 2, one of the main motor and the auxiliary motor is made freely rotatable at any rotation velocity in any direction irrespective of the rotation of the other thereof.
