Title:
LIGHT BEAM SCANNER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06250106
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To compensate a distortion aberration without using an fθ lens and to obtain a uniform beam spot
CONSTITUTION: This scanner is provided with a laser diode 11, a condenser lens 12, a rotary deflector 13 and a circular mirror 14. The laser beam emitted from the diode 11 is deflected with a constant angular velocity to a plane surface by the deflector 13, reflected by the mirror 14 and circularly scans a light receiving surface 15. The mirror 14 is circularly shaped with its center located at the reflection point of the reflector 13 so that the length of the optical path from the reflector 13 to the surface 15 is constant regardless of the deflection angle (a viewing angle).
