Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap for light bulbs capable of improving dielectric strength while maintaining detachability.SOLUTION: A cap 20 is a cap for light bulbs applied to a single-based type lamp, or a straight-tube type cylindrical lamp with a maximum tube diameter of φ34 mm or less. The cap supplies electric power through two pins 24 vertically implanted on an end surface 25 of light bulbs, attaches and fixes the light bulbs by a rotation within 90 degrees around the center 27 of these two pins as an axis, and the minimum space distance between implanted parts 22 of the two pins 24 is 15.1 mm or less. Furthermore, at the pin tip end parts 23 on the opposite side of the pin implanted parts 22, enlarged parts 26 larger than the cross-sectional areas of the pin implanted parts 22 are provided, and at any part of exposed portions of the pins 24 from the end surface 25 of the light bulb, no part is existing that is shorter than a distance A that is the minimum distance between the two pins.
