To suppress distortion of an array of a plurality of columnar lenses when arranging and holding the plurality of columnar lenses in one direction.
A columnar lens array 42 includes: the plurality of columnar lenses 43 in each of which refractive index distribution is formed, and which are arrayed in two lines alternately along a main-scanning direction X so that their optical axes may turn to an optical axis direction Z; and a lens frame 44 which is provided along the main-scanning direction X, and puts and holds the plurality of columnar lenses 43 between an upstream side and a downstream side in a sub-scanning direction Y. Then, on a front side wall member 44a of the lens frame 44, a plurality of front side grooves 45a, each of which goes in the optical axis direction Z, are formed side by side in the main-scanning direction X, and on a back-surface-side wall member 44b of the lens frame 44, a plurality of back-surface-side grooves 45b, each of which goes in the optical axis direction Z, are formed side by side in the main-scanning direction X.
