To provide a light control system that informs correct monitoring information (accumulated lighting time or the like) of individual luminaire or luminaire information (a luminaire model or the like) even if the luminaire is connected to any dimmer.
A luminaire 300A has an identification number setting part for setting an identification number of itself and a first communication part for sending the identification number. A dimmer 200A has a light control part for controlling light of the luminaire; a state monitoring part 202 for monitoring a state of itself; a second communication part 204 for receiving the identification number from the luminaire; and a third communication part 205 for sending the identification number from the luminaire together with a dimmer number and the monitoring information. A light control device 400 for controlling a plurality of dimmers can create a database representing monitoring contents every identification number of the luminaire based on the identification number from the dimmer, the dimmer number, and the monitoring information. An identification number writing device 801 has a function writing the identification number in the identification number setting part of the luminaire, creates a luminaire database corresponding to the identification number in writing, and sends it to the light control device.
