Title:
LIGHT CUT-OFF FILTER, LAMP, AND LIGHTING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005221751
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a light cut-off filter having a light absorption film which is excellent in durability and heat resistance and makes it possible to easily control ultraviolet rays and blue light absorption characteristics, and to provide a lamp and a lighting apparatus equipped with the filter.

The light cut-off filter F is formed using fine particles of spherical oxide on each surface of which a film comprising silver (Ag) is formed as its main constituent, as the main component. The light cut-off filter F transmits mainly visible light rays, and transmittance at the absorption peak on the short wavelength side is 50% in the range of 450 to 650 nm wavelength. This facilitates the control of the light absorption characteristics and enhances durability.
