To provide a light diffusing screen which reduces blurring of a projected image from a projector as much as possible even when a light diffusing board and a light diffusing sheet on which a light diffusing agent is scattered are used and is used for an image display device with which an image with satisfactory resolution can be observed.

In the light diffusing screen, in a Fresnel lens sheet or a lenticular lens sheet using the light diffusing sheet on which a light diffusing layer consisting of translucent resin by scattering light diffusing particulates on a translucent base material is formed, adhesive layers constituted by embedding a Fresnel lens part of the Fresnel lens sheet or a light shielding part of the lenticular lens sheet are adjacently arranged on the light diffusing layer of the light diffusing sheet. Then, the image display device is equipped with the Fresnel lens sheet light diffusing screen and the lenticular lens sheet light diffusing screen by combining them.
