To put the inside of a building in an optimal light environment by inputting required opening of respective light dimming windows to a main controller, and opening of a large number of light dimming windows so as to correspond to an opening signal from the main controller.
Light dimming windows 13 of (4×4=16 pieces) having the constitution of changing opening by moving a light dimming film by static electricity, are set as a single unit, a local controller 17 controlling an opening of the light dimming windows 13 and an illuminance meter 19 are arranged in the respective units, and an output of the illuminance meter 19 is imparted to the controller 17. A luminance distribution meter 21 such as a digital camera for detecting luminance of parts of ceiling and an indoor luminance meter 23 for detecting luminance of parts of the building are provided on the ceiling of a building, and an output signal 25 of them is imparted to a personal computer 25. An output signal of the personal computer 25 having an keyboard opening setting means 27 and an information display displaying means 29 is imparted to a main controller 34, an opening signal of the light dimming windows 13 is sent to the controller 17 on the basis of it, opening of the light dimming windows 13 is controlled to put the inside of a building in an optimal light environment.
