Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light distribution angle variable type downlight which easily adjusts a light distribution angle using a simple structure without needing replacement of components etc.SOLUTION: A light distribution angle variable type downlight 1 includes: a cup shaped case 2 which is embedded in a ceiling from a hole 10a opened on a ceiling plane 10; an LED 4 disposed on a top panel of the case 2; a rod lens 6 stored in the case 2 and having a columnar shape; and a moving mechanism which vertically moves the rod lens 6 and can change a height position of the rod lens 6. An inner surface of the case 2 is used as a diffusion reflection surface 2a. Further, a heat sink 5 is disposed on a top surface of the case 2 which faces the LED 4. Furthermore, the moving mechanism is formed by engaging spiral protrusions 8 formed on an outer peripheral surface of the rod lens 6 with spiral grooves 7 formed on an inner peripheral surface of the case 2.
