Abstract:

To provide a streetlight having a light distribution method for creating a uniform light spot.

The light distribution method is provided for: emitting part of light emitted from a light source 14, from a light distribution cup directly to the outside; emitting the other to the inner wall of the light distribution cup; and then reflecting it from the light distribution cup directly to the outside. Herein, the light emitted directly to the outside forms a rectangular main light spot. The light is first emitted to the inner wall and then combined with the light reflected by the light distribution cup to form a rectangular light spot with their parts overlapping each other depending on the shape of the main light spot. The uniform light spot is formed to reduce the number of streetlights.
