Abstract:

To provide a foldable light duct structure that reduces transportation costs, and prevents performance deterioration by preventing light reflection surfaces from any contact and deformation in a folded state.SOLUTION: A light duct 1 in a square tube shape, where light is propagated in an internal space region while reflected by inner peripheral mirror surfaces, consists of a pair of "U"-shaped cross-sectional reflection materials 2, and a pair of plane reflection materials 3 each having a vertical middle-foldable part 3f. A vertical raised part 2a of the "U"-shaped cross-sectional reflection material 2 and a vertical edge-side part 3g of the plane reflection material 3 are connected rotatably to each other with a rubber tape 5, and the middle-foldable part 3f is configured to be rotatable with a rubber tape 3e connected between a plane reflection plate 3a and a step-folded reflection plate 3b. The light duct 1 can be folded with the middle-foldable part 3f proceeding toward the internal space region side, causing the "U"-shaped cross-sectional reflection materials 2 to approach to each other. Further, the light dust 1 in a deployed state can be held in a rectangular pillar shape with reinforcement members fixed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
