Abstract:
To provide a bicycle which can be recognized both from front and rear when a person is riding irrespective of the angle of a bicycle pedal or the time of day.
A light emitting device for a bicycle pedal comprises a power source 2 incorporated in a bicycle pedal 1, a light emitting body 3 incorporated in the front and the rear side of the pedal 1 and a wire 4 connecting the power source 1 with the light emitter 3. When the pedal 1 is pedaled and rotated, an intermittent current flows from the power source 2 making the light emitter 3 emit light intermittently.
