Title:
LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE, AND CELLULAR PHONE WITH CAMERA EQUIPPED WITH SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2008084600
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve a problem where, since a small amount of luminous energy is collected in an LED light emitting device used as a flash in a conventional cellular phone with a camera, it is difficult to set an emission angle, that is to say, a good flash effect is provided in near imaging when the emission angle is increased, but the luminous energy is insufficient and exposure shortage occurs when a distant object is photographed; and when the emission angle is reduced, a good flash effect is provided in imaging a distant scene, but an illumination range is reduced and a good flash effect can not be provided when a near object is photographed.

This light emitting device includes an LED element as a light source, and a reflective member for reflecting the light emitted from the LED element to the front side. In the light emitting device, a relative position change means for moving the relative position between the LED element and the reflective member is arranged, and the relative position between the LED element and the reflective member can be varied, whereby the emission angle of the light from the reflecting member can be changed.
