Title:
LIGHT-EMITTING DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009187737
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a light-emitting device which realizes low resistance of electrodes to constitute an organic EL element and is easy to manufacture.

The organic EL element 8 includes a first and a second electrode layers formed on a substrate and a light-emitting functional layer pinched by these. The second electrode layer furthermore includes a main electrode formed all over so as to cover the surface of the substrate and N pieces of auxiliary electrodes 501 (N is a positive integer) which extend respectively along a row direction. Out of these, the auxiliary electrodes are made of a material having lower electric resistance than the main electrode and at least one piece of auxiliary electrode out of the N pieces of auxiliary electrodes includes at least one fracture portion 502 on the way of its extension direction, and furthermore, the sheet resistance of the second electrode layer is a prescribed value or less.
