To provide a light emitting device capable of reducing a light emitting area and increasing the light emitting density.SOLUTION: A light emitting device 1 includes a substrate 11, a plurality of light emitting elements 20 arranged on the substrate 11, a first frame body 40 arranged on the substrate 11 so as to surround the plurality of light emitting elements 20, a phosphor sedimentation layer 50 including a phosphor and arranged inside the first frame body 40 so as to seal at least some of the plurality of light emitting elements 20, a first sealing material 51 arranged on the upper part of the phosphor sedimentation layer 50, and a second frame 41 arranged on at least a part of the first frame body 40 and the first sealing material 51 so as to extend from the first frame body 50 toward the plurality of light emitting elements 20 side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
