Of the light-emitting device provided with a substrate 10, a first electrode 14 fitted on the substrate 10, an organic layer 16 fitted on the first electrode 14, a second electrode 18 fitted on the organic layer 16, and light-emitting elements 30 equipped with the first electrode 14, the organic layer 16 and the second electrode 18, each light-emitting element 30 on the substrate 10 is equipped with an inspection part 12 made of a semiconductor material emitting Raman scattering light based on heat transferred from the light-emitting element by irradiation of laser light.
