Title:
LIGHT-EMITTING DEVICE, PLANAR LIGHT SOURCE DEVICE, DISPLAY DEVICE, AND LIGHT FLUX CONTROL MEMBER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3875247
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make fluctuations of light emission color of an LED less conspicuous, and prevent occurrence of brightness unevenness.
SOLUTION: Light from a light-emitting element 4 is irradiated through a light flux control member 5. The light flux control member 5 is provided with a recessed part 10 for housing the light-emitting element 4, and a light control irradiation face 6 controlling irradiation of light. As for light irradiated within an angle range from a direction in which light of maximum intensity is irradiated to a direction in which light with a half value of the maximum intensity is irradiated out of the light irradiated from the light-emitting element 4, the light control irradiation face 6 is so formed that an angle θ1 made by the light within the above range incident on the light flux control member 5 and reaching the light control irradiation face 6 and a line passing the goal and parallel with a reference light axis of the light-emitting device and an irradiation angle θ5 of the light irradiated from the light control irradiation face 6 is to satisfy a relation of : θ5/θ1>1, except for the light in the vicinity of a light axis L out of the light irradiated from the light control irradiation face 6, and at the same time, a value of θ5/θ1 is to be gradually changed to be smaller as the θ1 increases.
