Abstract:
To provide a light emitting device with a power generation function which can inhibit increase in manufacturing costs and size.SOLUTION: A light emitting device with a power generation function includes: a heat conductive LED substrate 220 including a heat conductive base 221 and substrate wirings 222a, 222b provided on a mounting surface 221a; LED elements 210; a heat sink 230 thermally coupled to the heat conductive base 221 and having a plate-like base part 231 and multiple fin parts 232 protruding from the base part 231; and thermionic elements 1 thermally coupled to the heat sink 230 and provided on the fin parts 232 or the base part 231. The thermionic element 1 includes: a housing part 10 having a storage part 10d; a first electrode part 11 located in the storage part 10d; a second electrode part 12 located in the storage part 10d and having a work function different from the first electrode part 11; and an intermediate part 14 having a work function between a work function of the first electrode part 11 and a work function of the second electrode part 12 and including nano-particles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
