To provide a light-emitting device with a power generation function capable of suppressing size enlargement.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device with a power generation function is equipped with a thermal conductive LED substrate 220 that includes a thermal conductive base 221 having a mounting surface 221a and an opening surface 221b, and substrate wiring 222a and 222b provided on the mounting surface 221a; an LED element 210 electrically connected with the substrate wirings 222a and 222b; a thermoelectric element 1 that is electrically insulated from the thermal conductive base 221, and is provided in the thermal conductive base 221; and a control portion 9 that is electrically connected with the thermoelectric element 1 and is provided in the thermal conductive base 221. The light-emitting device includes a housing portion 10 that has a storage portion 10d; a first electrode portion 11, and a second electrode portion 12 that has a work function different from that of the first electrode portion 11, in the storage portion 10d; and an intermediate portion 14 that includes nanoparticles having a work function between the work function of the first electrode portion 11 and the work function of the second electrode portion 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
