To provide a light-emitting device of an amber color which has a relatively broad emission spectrum, with less color shift.
The light-emitting device comprises a light emitting element which emits light from the ultraviolet to blue color, a first phosphor which is excited by the light emitted from the light-emitting element to emit first light whose wavelength is longer than that of the excitation light, and a second phosphor, comprising a nitride phosphor, which is excited by the light emitted from the light-emitting element to emit second light whose wavelength is further longer than that of the first light. Its emission color is a mixture of the first light and the second light, and the nitride phosphor contains B at a ratio of 1-10,000 ppm.
